Recycling or building from scratch - what's the difference?
Most often our clients come to us with a dilemma:
Buy an old house and renovate it or build a new one to suit themselves and their needs?
At first glance, the secondary market seems easier: the house is already standing, you don’t have to wait. But as soon as the repair begins, the shock comes. A house for 350.000 €, in which they planned to make up for 500 €/m², in reality requires 1.000-1.500 €/m².
100 m² = another +150.000 € minimum.
And you are still living in an old house – with outdated electrics, cold floors, bad planning and “surprises” from the previous owners.
Plus the cost of rent for the time of repair. Plus constant supervision of the crew. Plus the risk that someone will have to kick out or sue.
New homes from the builder - only pretty in the photo?
